Why Don’t Diets Ever Work?

By Kirsten Plotkin of My Own Plan by Kirsten Plotkin

Once you realize diets never work long term, you should know that it is now possible to cure all non-medical weight problems and obesity permanently, and the cure has nothing to do with a healthy balanced diet or calorie control.

If it were possible, diets should be banned. Not because they never work long term, but because they have ruined our body’s natural system of weight control and it now looks like they are the cause of the obesity epidemic we see today.

If you think diets ultimately fail because people fail to stay on them, think again. This is the belief encouraged by the diet industry and it is self serving and wrong.

The easiest way to confirm that, is to ask anyone who was an adult forty years ago, if obesity and type2 diabetes were common back then. They will confirm that weight problems were rare and usually had a medical cause and type2 diabetes had never been heard of.

It is no coincidence that the diet industry began about the same time weight problems began and both have been growing at a frightening pace ever since.

You may think fast food and pastries are the cause of today’s obesity epidemic. No way, fast food, cakes sweets and everything you can think of, was available before the 2nd world war. There was plenty of it, it was just different and much more fat focused.

The same is true of our meat and poultry which no longer resembles, either in color or texture, the products you would have seen at the butchers forty years ago.

Where food is concerned, we have inherited a tasteless, colorless, food mall regimented world of convenience, and the people who have profited are the same people who tell us it is ‘healthy’ and good for us.

We need to unlearn some things we currently hold very dear. Green, by definition, is not necessarily good. Foods are not healthy simply because we call them that. It is not natural to be on a diet. Our body does not require a regime of measured and defined food groups.

A diet has only ever been required when it forms part of a treatment for a medical condition.

If you want to learn how we got it so wrong, you will find the information in a book called, My Own Plan. It is important to yours and your family's future health that you know the answers.

Of course, not everybody has a weight problem and you maybe one of the forty percent or less who does not yet have one. But if you can see the value of this book to at least sixty percent of the population, you may decide you’d like to market it.

The book is available through Clickbank. To get the details you will find the affiliate page right here,
